I purchased wild garden hummus and this to my one and a half year-old son for two days on the third night I was eating it and read the expiration date come to find out this product was expired over a year ago.! I was sick to my stomach as I read this. As my son already has medical issues, I purchased this thinking of making a healthy choice for myself and my family and I pretty much wasfeeding my son mold it did not look green or bad however it was clearly expired I went back to the grocery store to complain in the answer I received was we have over 100,000 items in the store and sometimes things are overlooked. To me this is not acceptable if the company cannot handle over 100,000 items then maybe they should have less. As a consumer I should check the expiration date before making a purchase however I trust the company I'm buying from as well as the grocery store that I'm shopping at to check the expiration date of each and every product. And the answer I received I feel as it is completely was not a big deal as they did refund me my money however that does not solve my issue I went back to the shelf to purchase a new jar of hummus, just to find three more jars that were expired one of them being three years old! How do I trust that I am getting the quality of food that I'm paying for. Me and my family shop here in 3 to 4 times a week and now I've lost my confidence and trust especially after speaking to the manager
